این دورهمی دو زبانه است.
In an “Al Ma'arri-Khayyam Night” we:
1- Get to know each other.
2- Talk about the books we have read and liked and possibly exchange them with those of others.
3- Read from Al Ma'arri, the great Arab poet and Omar Khayyam, the great Persian one as a symbol of peace and friendship of the people in this region. Translation will be provided for interested patricipants.
Every Thursday at 9:00 PM (right after "Tehran International Weekly Gathering).
Next to the statue of Omar Khayyam located in the north-east part of Laleh Park in Tehran.
* How to get there?
- The closest metro station is "Meydan-e Jahad" station on Line3. From there take a shared taxi or walk west (10 to 15 minutes) along Dr. Fatemi Avenue past Laleh International Hotel until you find the northern entrance to "Park-e Laleh" on your right. Enter the park. Soon you will come across a big map of the park on your left. You can see "آمفی تیاتر روباز" on the map (No. 15). It is on the northern part of the park, less than 3 minutes walking from where you are standing. Continue southward inside the park and soon you will come across two washrooms. Pass between them and continue southwards until you see a big amphitheater on your right. You can't miss it. The statue is about 100 meters to the east of this place. PLEASE DON'T CONSIDER ENTERING THE PARK FROM ANY OTHER POINT, OTHERWISE WE CAN'T HELP YOU FIND US.
If you need help with the directions or if you need more information you can always call Reza Memar on 09125172913.
